CD ROM, Inc. was incorporated in 1988. The three purposes of the Company were then and remain today: to distribute quality optical products to develop CD-ROM products for clients in our consulting branch to foster research and development of the optical industry. CD ROM, Inc. has currently five awarded and several pending patents, trademarks and copyrights in four fields of science related to optical products.. Our product distribution reaches six of seven continents and we are moving into year 8 of one of the first and most visible General Services Administration contracts in the IT field. Our distribution company, CD ROM, Inc., was awarded the prestigious INC 500 award in 1994 as being the 184th fastest growing privately held company in the US with base year profitable sales of $1.5 million. We have unique Department of Defense (DoD) approvals for the safe and permanent destruction of digital records on CD-ROM, and have authored proposed specifications for safe destruction of digital information on DVDs. We have continued to grow and remain highly profitable since our base year.
