Warranty & Return Policy
Limited Product Warranty
CD ROM Inc. (CRI) stands behind the quality of the products we design, manufacture, and integrate.
Unless otherwise specified in writing or on an individual product page, CRI hardware products are covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Manufacturer warranties apply to commercial off-the-shelf components when provided by the original manufacturer and may extend beyond CRI’s standard warranty period.
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Unauthorized modification or repair
- Damage caused by improper installation or environmental conditions
- Normal wear and cosmetic damage
- Software configuration, viruses, malware, or user-installed software
CRI’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective components, at CRI’s discretion.

Return Policy
Because many CRI products are custom configured, built-to-order, or manufactured to customer specifications, all sales are generally final unless otherwise approved by CD ROM Inc.
Standard commercial products may be eligible for return within 30 days of shipment provided that:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been issued by CRI.
- The product is unused and in like-new condition.
- All original packaging, accessories, documentation, and materials are included.
- The product has not been modified or damaged.
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on the product and supplier policies.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from a CRI shipping error or a verified warranty defect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
- Custom-built computer systems
- Custom-engineered products
- Government-configured systems
- Special-order or non-stock items
- Software licenses
- Downloadable software
- Consulting and engineering services
- Products damaged by misuse or unauthorized modification
Warranty Service
If you believe your product requires warranty service, please contact CRI before returning any equipment. An RMA number and shipping instructions will be provided if warranty service is approved.
Customers are responsible for shipping products to CRI unless otherwise authorized. Warranty repairs will be returned using standard ground shipping within the United States.
Government Customers
Products purchased under GSA Schedule, Department of Defense contracts, or other government procurement vehicles remain subject to the applicable contract terms, which shall govern in the event of any conflict with this policy.
